The Second Annual Systemanar was a success!

In 2009 Park City Aiki-Systema hosted the first annual "Systemanar" in beautiful, Park City, Utah.  Kwan Lee was our marquee instructor and we could not have been more excited about introducing Kwan to our friends in Utah, Nevada and Wyoming, Colorado, California and Montana.  We had over 35 participants and trained both indoors and outdoors with perfect weather conditions.  Kwan commented afterward that the group was unique in terms of its willingness to commit to the training with an open mind.

So with a genuine sense of excitement, Kwan Lee returned for the Second Annual Systemanar in the fall of 2010.  This year we offered a special Friday Night Session entitled:  "The Systema Path to Health and Wellness."  This allowed friends and family to learn about the non-martial aspect of healthy living via breath, movement and massage.  On Saturday and Sunday Kwan was able to get into some very deep work.  The outdoor setting was perfect for the practical work which included an emphasis on ground fighting via breath and movement.

The 2011 has been pushed into 2012 as we are adopting a spring format which will allow us to train in the newly renovated Park City Municipal Aquatic and Recreation Center (The MARC).  Check back for precise times, dates, costs and so forth.  Expect the Systemanar to be in April or May of 2012.
